World of Trouble to Brazil

World of Trouble | Sarah Andrew

GI Carter Handicap and GI Jaipur Invitational Stakes winner World of Trouble (Kantharos–Meets Expectations, by Valid Expectations) has reportedly been sold to a partnership of three Brazillian farms and will stand at Haras Rio Iguassú, according to the South American publication Turf Diario. The other two farms involved are Haras Cifra and Haras Palmerini.

World of Trouble has stood since 2020 at Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Paris, Ky. and has 46 winners in his first two crops to race. His four black-type horses include Puerto Rican stakes winner Touch of Trouble. The 9-year-old's dam is a half-sister to MGSW and New York sire Bucchero, who, like World of Trouble, is by Kantharos.
